The Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning has opened the applications for the School-Age Child Care grant for SFY 2025. The goal of this project is to increase the availability and affordability of high-quality school-age child care. This request for funding seeks applications from public school corporations or licensed and/or regulated 501(c)(3) organizations that offer out-of-school time programming to youth ages 5-14.
The Executive Director will provide guidance and oversight of all departments in the organization, implement strategic planning and monitor the execution of plans within the organization in conjunction with Board leadership. This position is responsible for the deployment of innovative solutions that address opportunities and challenges.
From developing critical thinking skills to improving decision-making and building healthy habits, out-of-school time programs have been found to help develop the foundational skills and competencies that contribute to young people’s health, education, and overall well-being.
