Indiana’s OST programs are essential in creating positive outcomes for families, schools, and communities. As a provider or youth advocate, you see this first hand, but your elected leaders might not fully understand the amazing work OST programs do for their community. That’s why it’s important for you to leverage your voice and advocate for Indiana’s youth programs!

What is OST Advocacy Week?
OST Advocacy Week is a week-long, statewide event put on by IAN in August. It encourages Indiana’s providers of before school, after school, and summer programming to host an OST advocacy event in their community. The event could target your local, state, or federally elected officials individually, or all of them at the same time. It could be a large community-wide event, or a smaller-scale event depending on your program’s capacity.

How IAN will help you host an event:

  1. We will invite your Congressmember to your event for you.
  2. We will provide you with an Advocacy Week Toolkit to help you plan your event.
  3. We will highlight your event on our social media platforms.

How can I learn more?
To learn about how you can host an Advocacy Week event, please join our informational webinar on June 12th from 11AM – 12PM (ET).
