Expanding What Works Grant

The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) is excited to invest in expanding successful Student Learning Recovery Grant programming. The Expanding What Works program promotes regional partnerships between community organizations, local non-profits, municipal partners, and/or local school corporations to replicate the successful Indy Summer Learning Labs at a regional level. This competitive grant program will prioritize applicants that demonstrate a commitment to partnering with the Lavinia Group to implement a high-quality, research-based summer learning curriculum and fidelity to the core design principles of the Indy Summer Learning Labs.

This grant program is designed to cover all reasonable costs associated with replicating the Indy Summer Learning Lab program during summer 2023 and expects to award approximately $1,500 per student for the five-week program.
