Cost-free, strengths-based program self-assessment

The Indiana Quality Program Self-Assessment (INQPSA) is our strengths-based self-assessment tool that allows users the opportunity to self-assess on their program performance based on the Indiana Afterschool Quality Standards.

In the INQPSA, users can create reports to compare year-over-year results, and aggregate results from multiple programming sites when applicable. The INQPSA includes downloadable surveys for staff, community partners, families, and youth, along with automated reporting to help track your progress over time.

Benefits

The INQPSA can help out-of-school time programs:

  • Identify and understand the factors that support or inhibit top performance
  • Use data to drive decision-making
  • Take action and make positive changes
  • Continue to grow, learn, and improve
  • Maximize positive impact for staff, youth, families, and communities

Looking to increase your efficiencies when completing your self-assessment? Check out our video series that explains how to maximize your INQPSA usage.

Recognition of quality leadership

Creating measurable positive change isn’t easy. By aligning with the Indiana Afterschool Standards and assessing your program using the INQPSA, you are demonstrating a dedication to supporting a brighter future for children and families across our state.

We strive to recognize this kind of service and dedication to continuous program quality through the Quality Leader Badge.

To earn a Quality Leader Badge annually, leaders are required to:

  • Align with at least (1) set of Indiana Afterschool Standards or Specialty Standards, AND
  • Complete the INQPSA within the applicable program year.
