The Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning has opened the applications for the School-Age Child Care grant for SFY 2025. The goal of this project is to increase the availability and affordability of high-quality school-age child care. This request for funding seeks applications from public school corporations or licensed and/or regulated 501(c)(3) organizations that offer out-of-school time programming to youth ages 5-14.
The summer Classroom Lead will be charged with a group of students to lead in the classroom, support the teacher (in the morning) and lead summer camp in the afternoon. They will be responsible for the day-to-day activities. They will also drive for field trips.
From developing critical thinking skills to improving decision-making and building healthy habits, out-of-school time programs have been found to help develop the foundational skills and competencies that contribute to young people’s health, education, and overall well-being.
